Description

6/9/25 - For sale is a Gewehr 98 made by Amberg in 1916. There is significant oxidation throughout the metal parts, likely being stored in a damp location. The barrel retains its bluing below the oxidation patches. The stock is in good shape overall with plenty of handling wear. There is a split in the grain on the left side about 3.5" in length. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle is bolt mismatched. The cleaning rod is absent.
