Description

4/29/20 - This is an original Colt M1894 revolver that was made in 1895 and issued to the NJ Militia, as indicated by the 'NJ' marking on left side of frame. All matching numbers including frame, barrel, cylinder, cylinder arm and release latch. RAC inspector marks on frame, grip and barrel. The gun is in "unaltered" condition, meaning no lanyard ring was added. Finish shows obvious thinning and some patina to the profile, and is very thin on the grip frame. Bore is shiny with strong rifling, but does have a few small areas of pitting inside.
