Description
10/14/26 - This is an antique Smith & Wesson Model 1 1/2 Second Issue revolver, chambered in .32 rimfire and manufactured circa 1874. It has a factory nickel finish, the Smith & Wesson Springfield, Mass. address and patent dates on top of the barrel, a fluted cylinder, and a bird's-head grip. The finish rates about 90%, with areas of flaking in the nickel plating, mainly on the cylinder, toward the back strap, and around some of the edges of the cylinder, with patina in those same areas. There are a few areas of dulling here and there and micro scratching throughout (typical). Case-hardened hammer. Fitted with nice, period-correct wood grips with just a few marks and scratches. Fully functional. The bore rates about 4/10 with good rifling, but noticeable spotty oxidation throughout. No FFL required.
