5/28/26- For sale is an antique Japanese sword. The blade is traditionally handmade and has some spots of patina along with notable edge and surface wear and chipping. The crossguard and fittings are made of traditionally styled brass. The handle is wrapped in a roughly textured natural skin. The silk wrap has been unwound to allow inspection of the tang. The tang is unmarked but has significant age-related patina. The scabbard is leather wrapped, the typical pattern for antique swords carried into WW2. These is a hanging loop and cord. Overall in good condition.
