Description
05/13/2024 - For sale is an Arisaka Type 38 Training rifle issued to the Imperial Army for blank fire practice. These rifles are NOT SAFE to shoot full power ammo. The rifle is in rough condition but structurally sound. The metal parts are coated in some grime and there is freckling and spots of rust throughout. The stock has been duffel cut under the rear barrel band and also has the same dirt that is on the metal. The bolt needs a heavy cleaning as the dirt is making it tough to cycle. The rifle is matching on the receiver, bolt, and safety knob. The barrel is smoothbore and has no rifling for flank fire purposes. There are no locking lugs on the bolt so it is NOT SAFE to shoot regular ammo in this rifle. The origin of the Arisaka rifles being unsafe to shoot stemmed from these training rifles being loaded with full power ammo.¬
