7/17/25 - For sale is a Type 38 Arisaka rifle used for training and drills. This rifle is NOT MEANT FOR FULL POWER LIVE CARTRIDGES. The rifle is a full size Type 38 and can fire blanks and potentially full power cartridges. The receiver retains some of its original bluing but is mostly covered in old surface oxidation and patina. The stock is a ONE PIECE stock that does not have the standard spliced buttstock to prevent cracking of shooting live ammo. There are numberous dings throughout the stock bu no crack or breaks. The bore is manufactured as a smoothbore and has no rifling. The top of the receiver is stamped "Izawa Type".
