Description
1/15/19 - This is one of the more complete, early Type 94 Japanese pistol rigs that we have come across in years. It's a third year production, made in December of 1937, and dated year 12.12 of Showa Emperor reign. The gun retains 95-97% of its original blue, with just minimal holster wear present as per pictures and some patina on the straps. There is no pitting anywhere. It is complete with an early leather holster with rarely seen shoulder strap, dated inside the lid, in outstanding condition. The pistol has both matching magazines, though they appear to be from separate arsenals, and an original lanyard cord. Excellent bore and grips. Only about 71,000 Type 94 pistols were made over a period of 10 years, earmarked primarily for air force pilots and tank crews, compared to nearly half a million of T14 pistols made. Early, complete examples in such outstanding condition are nearly impossible to find.Specifications
