Description
10/27/26 - This is a beautiful example of a US Property-marked Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless, manufactured in 1943 and chambered in .32 ACP. Developed in 1903 as a small-frame hammerless pocket pistol, the 1903 proved to be a very successful and popular design for Colt, and it was adopted by the US military during WWII as both a compact sidearm and a general officer's pistol. This one wears the proper crossed cannons military cartouche, and the right side of the frame is marked "U.S. PROPERTY." It is all matching. The serial number does not come up with any hits for being named to an officer. The original parkerized finish rates about 99%, with just a few tiny scratches and marks. Fitted with mint checkered wood grips with Colt medallions, and it comes with one two-tone magazine. Mint bore. A superb wartime 1903 in condition that is hard to improve on.
