07/01/26 - For sale is a No4 Mk1* Lee Enfield chambered in .303 British and made in 1942. The rifle was FTR (Factory Through Repair) refurbished in 1948. The bulk of the finish has worn away down to bare metal. The stock is structurally sound but has sanded likely during the refurb. The surface has storage dust. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling. some visible wear at the muzzle. The rifle has a matching number on the bolt and receiver. The forestock serial is sanded and hard to read. Import mark on the barrel.
