Description

4/21/18 - This is an original BYF 43 P.38 pistol with a dust blue finish, making this an early 1943 production and first variation BYF43. The pistol is all matching and correct. The finish is 94-95% with some normal edge wear and thinning on the front and back straps. The top of the pistol has some thinning on the sear bar and top of the receiver, but no rust, speckling, or pitting. There are a few very light spots of speckling on the slide; the left side between the serial number and "byf 43" stamp, as well as on the right side near the 135 proofs. This is very light wear. Overall the pistol is excellent and fully functional. The bore is beautiful and minty.
