Description
4/12/21 - This is an interesting and somewhat uncommonly seem Carcano Type I rifle. These rifles were made for the Japanese empire by Italy in the late 1930s and early 1940s, and primarily used by Japanese Imperial Navy forces. The gun is all original, correct without mum and only the one serial on the side of the receiver. Overall, the gun is in decent condition. There is heavy brown patina and spotty oxidation throughout. Some light spotty rust on the left side of the receiver. There is an area of hardened gunk on the top of the barrel. The stock is decent with minor dings and scratches throughout. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.Specifications
