Description

4/17/25 - For sale is a Swedish Mauser 96/38 made in 1909. The rifle originally was a 1896 Mauser but was cut down to a short configuration. The rifle has a nice matte parked finish on the receiver and the barrel is a matte bluing. The stock is in good condition but has been sanded. The bore is bright with strong rifling. A commercial muzzle brake had been installed. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver and bolt but the rest of the parts are mismatched. There's an import mark on the bottom of the barrel.
