06/12/2024 - For sale is a Swedish Mauser Model 96b chambered in 6.5x55 and made in 1905 at the Carl Gustafs Arsenal. The Swedish mausers are considered some of the finest Mausers with the exceptionally flat shooting 6.5 Swedish cartridge. The rifle is in an overall clean condition. The receiver and barrel have old bluing that is dulling and has small spots of finish loss. The stock is clean with a slight tiger pattern on the left side. The rifle is bolt mismatched. The bore is good and semi-bright with good rifling. The barrel is threaded for the shot trap meant for the wood training ammo.
