Description
10/9/26 - This is a very nice example of a WW2 Remington Rand Model 1911A1, sold to the public through the CMP Program. It comes with its original CMP Pelican-style hard case, owner's manual, CMP tag, and a modern replacement magazine. The frame was made by Remington Rand in 1944, while both the slide and barrel are more modern replacements. The parkerized finish rates about 90%, with general high edge wear, spotty wear on the front strap, and some light marks and scratches along the slide. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips (remnants of yellow painted markings on the left panel). Minty bore. A WW2-framed 1911A1 with documented CMP provenance.
