Description
10/16/26 - This is a Chinese warlord-era copy of the FN Browning Model 1900. During the warlord period, Chinese industry made few firearms of its own, and the FN Model 1900 in 7.65mm was so popular that small workshops and arsenals turned out their own hand-fitted copies with little regard for patents. The markings on these copies imitate FN's, often with misspellings, nonsensical text, or logos stamped upside down, and this one is a great example, with part of the logo and the "NATIONALE" marking stamped upside down. This particular example is all matching. The finish rates about 75%, with honest flaking and patina on most of the gun. Fitted with horn grips with obvious bore holes on both sides, and it comes with one magazine. The bore rates a 5/10, with pretty good rifling and some light pitting throughout.
