9/30/25 - For sale is a Gewehr 98 made in 1915 at the DWM Factory. The rifle shows its age and wear. The metal has plenty of patina and light prickles of corrosion. The stock and handguard show signs of being lightly sanded. There are plenty of dents and nicks but no breaks. The bore has good rifling but there is visible pitting. The rifle has matching nubmers throughout. The rear sight is has the 1 of 21 overstamped over a 2, which could be a factory error as the rest of the rear sight matches.
