This rifle is in an overall 90% condition with finish loss on spots of the receiver and towards the muzzle. The bore is slightly dark but light shines through. The Imperial mum is canceled out and there is a character for "Teach" stamped above where its stamped Type 38. There is a serial prefix of 00 added before the serial number to denote it was turned into a school rifle. The rifle is mismatched. The stock is clean and free of any cracks or breaks. The stock is painted "8" on the right side. The carbine comes with a reproduction leather sling that had tried to write "First Paratroop group" in Japanese.
