08/31/26 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor Rifle chambered in .45-70 Gov't. The rifle is in good condition with an aging finish on the metal. The barrel is turning a brown/grey patina and the case color finish on the trapdoor is faded. The stock shows signs of being sanded and finished with a shiny varnish. The bore is bright with strong rifling, but some freckles of surface oxidation are visible. Action functions Properly.
