Clean Underwood M1 Carbine - 1944 mfg

7/3/25 - For sale is an Underwood M1 Carbine that was produced around early 1944. The carbine was sold to the German commercial market after the war and is proofed with the German Antler on the receiver. The rifle is marked with all Underwood parts throughout. The metal retains its parkerized finish but there is a hint of browning throughout. The stock is a replacement but is Underwood marked on the right side. The left side of the stock is marked AAM for Augusta Arsenal. There is a crack about 1" at the nose of the stock on the right side. The bore is bright with great rifling. The muzzle erosion rates a 2. Seating the barreled assembly into the stock bed is a little stiff. The barrel is marked Underwood 1944. Comes with a M1 Carbine Flash cone, oiler, and sling. Large spots of old surface oxidation on the side of the magazine.  The barrel is import-marked.
