Description

9/10/20 - This is an original WW2 Colt Commando Revolver issued to the US military in 1942. 4" barrel. There is a flaming bomb proof on the left side of the frame above the cylinder. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. This particular gun is in excellent condition. The nature of the parkerized finish makes it difficult to rate, but our best guess is about 98% - there isn't much actual finish loss. There is some dulling in the finish on the left side of the frame and on the cylinder. There appears to be very minor thinning on the straps. There are areas of spotty oxidation and minor discoloration throughout. Excellent original grips. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
