Description
10/27/26 - This is a Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver from 1860, in fair condition. It is mostly matching, including the barrel wedge, but the cylinder is mismatched. Note that the barrel wedge fits very loosely in the gun. Chambered in .31 caliber. The original finish is completely worn, with honest, spotty attic patina throughout and some areas of pinpricking here and there. The stagecoach robbery scene on the cylinder shows about 75-80% visibility. Fitted with very nice period-correct smooth wood grips with only minor bruising. The bore rates 5/10, with pretty good rifling and oxidation from age throughout. Fully functional. No FFL required.
