10/6/26 - This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1860 Army revolver, manufactured in 1867 and chambered in .44 Caliber. It is completely matching down to the barrel wedge. Overall, the gun is in nice condition for its age. Most of the original finish has worn away, leaving an honest "attic" patina throughout. The cylinder has retained much of its scene, showing roughly 85% visibility. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips that show honest bruising and some minor rounding around the corners. The bore has strong rifling, but there is some surface oxidation toward the muzzle end. Fully functional. No FFL required. A solid, all-matching 1860 Army with a strong cylinder scene.
