Description
10/15/26 - For sale is a Colt Model 1911A1 made in 1942 for the US military, sold to the public through the CMP. The frame and slide have a nice phosphate finish with light finish loss from wear. The slide has a scratch along the entire length of the left side. The grips have light wear but are in good shape overall. No cracks to note, but there is some light surface chipping on the lower left of the right grip panel. The left panel looks to have "03" painted on it. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The slide does not match the frame, but both are Colt. The barrel is a Colt replacement barrel, and the magazine is a modern Mec-Gar. Comes with the CMP paperwork, Certificate of Authenticity, chamber flag, lock, and CMP hard case.
