Description
5/18/18 - This is an early production Walther PPK that was likely made in 1931, which is the first year of production according to Dieter Marschall in his Walther book. This one is 760840, making it one of the earliest ever recorded. Early features of this pistol include: 90 degree safety, enclosed firing pin, left to right grip screw, no metal insert inside grip, reversed serial on frame, Crown/N on slide and frame but NOT ejection port, blued ejection port, no lip finger extension. The finish rates at 93-94% with wear near muzzle on both sides of the slide, and some more near ejection port on right side. Excellent grip and nice, shiny bore.
