Description

5/8/26- For sale is a Luftwaffe double decal M35 helmet. The helmet exterior has its original dark paint finish with moderate wear and paint loss but no spots of rust or corrosion. The helmet has two decals, indicating it was produced and put into service before the middle of 1940. The Luftwaffe eagle has wear to the center of the bird but the wingtips and bottom of the swastika are clearly visible. The national shield is worn across the entire shield but all color stripes are visible. The helmet interior has light patina and wear but no serious damage. The original leather liner is present and completely intact. The back seam of the liner has come unstitched but all leather elements including top flaps, chipstrap, and string tie at the top are intact, which is rare and desirable! The helmet rim has the appropriate stampings, including 740 and Q64. Overall in excellent condition!
