Description
10/30/26 - This is an early Nambu Type 14, manufactured in February of 1935. It is the early small trigger guard variation. All matching, and it comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered magazine, one period-correct but mismatched magazine, and a period-correct leather clamshell holster. There are stitching holes on the back of the holster where the original shoulder straps were removed. On the spare magazine, the original numbering has been crossed out and "000" has been stamped on the bottom. The original finish rates about 96%, with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some dulling and light brown patina on the grip straps, a small area of wear on the underside of the trigger guard, and a few light scratches and marks on the front strap and front edge of the trigger guard. Fitted with period-correct bamboo grips with some honest bruising and scratching on both sides. The left panel is faintly hand-numbered to match; there is no legible numbering on the right panel. An early small trigger guard Nambu, complete as a rig with its matching magazine. The bore has good rifling.
