Description

8/2/22 - This is a fairly early Colt 1903 from 1909. It comes with the Colt archive letter stating it was shipped to a hardware store in Oregon in January of that year. The pistol has all original blue with nice fire blue on the small parts. The overall finish on this one is difficult to rate as there isn't much bluing loss, but there is patina on the grip frame and some scratches on the right side of the frame. Nice Colt hard rubber grips with no cracks or chips. Unmarked, blued magazine. The bore has nice rifling but some frost throughout.
