Description
1/20/21 - This is a really nice example of an early 1911 Colt that was issued to the US Military. The original finish is excellent and covers about 85-90% of the gun. All parts are also original early examples including the barrel (P H marked), the grips and the magazine. The magazine is two-tone with lanyard on the bottom. The back of the slide has the correct H on it. Bore is shiny and clean. Comes with a field service booklet dated 1914. It is signed by Lt. Richard Cox in June of 1915. Last page has serial number of the gun hand written as well as the Cox name - likely in the National Guard at that time, following his time in the Army.Specifications
