8/1/25 - For sale is a Mauser C96 pistol made in 1899 and sold to the US Commercial market through Von Lengerke & Demold of New York. The pistol retains a nice blued finish but theres some discoloration from some kind of liquid throughout the bluing. The rear of the upper slide has scratches and wear. The grips show age but in great shape. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The pistol has matching numbers throughout included the internals. The frame is marked "Von Lengerke & Detmold" of New York. The pistol comes with an original Holster/stock. The tang has a matching serial number stamped. There is a crack going around the end cap and also a chip on the top of the cpa. There is also a 5" surface crack stemming from the bottom of the hinge plate. The other side has 3 surface cracks, one roughly 4" from the stock slot piece and one about 1.5", and another surface crack running almost end to end.
