Description

3/8/24 - This a rare example of an early Mauser C96 from 1899. This one has a "flat side" frame and a large ring hammer. All matching and "Crown U" proofed. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips. Its original finish rates roughly 75%. The majority of the finish loss is on the barrel, but there is also general high edge wear and spotty oxidation throughout. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting and light surface oxidation throughout.
