Description

11/25/20 - This is a very nice example of a rare and early Mauser C96 with flat side, large ring hammer and its original, matching stock. Made in ~1900, the pistol is all matching and original, including the grips. The pistol has 90+% of the original blue, with most of the bluing loss on the left side of the barrel and front of the grip frame. There's also some oxidation in a few areas, mostly the slide. Clean bore with strong rifling. The stock is original and matching to the gun, a rare find. But it does have a notable chunk of wood missing from the lid that makes it so the top can't latch and close. It doesn't have any cracks or structural issues otherwise, but there is some rest on the metal hinge.
