Description
7/23/19 - This is a very early Walther PP with many of the unique, desirable features only found on some of the first PP's produced. The gun has basic early features like the upside-down serial and 90 degree safety, but also has the large ring hammer, slab style magazine and X-backed grips. The pistol is all original and correct with 94-95% of the high-polished blue remaining. It has a very nice profile view with only minor edge wear, but a notable area of finish loss on the back strap. Mint bore and excellent finger extension on the rare magazine. The grips show some age and handling wear but no cracks. Serial dates this pistol to 1930-31, so second or third year of production and one of the first 9,000 ever made. The pistol comes with a 1934 dated holster with sharp waffenamt and G.J. Ensink & Co maker mark.Specifications
