Description

2/17/17 - This is an early Winchester M1 Carbine that was reworked following WWII to be used for the fighting in Korea.  The reworked features include the adjustable rear sight and added bayo lug, and the stock shows rework markings.  This rifle sports a 1944 dated Underwood barrel, and an 'LU' marked Underwood magazine.  It features many of the original, correct proof marks including a faded crossed-cannons cartouche, 'IO' in the sling cut, and circle P.  No import marks.  Excellent bore.
