Description
10/23/24 - This is a near mint example of a 1909 Argentine officer's short sword. Along with the sword is an original matching scabbard and a correct green leather frog. The scabbard has minimal finish loss throughout with no pitting or dents, and the all-original frog has tight, complete stitching (Except for two stitches, See Photos) and very little cracking in the leather. This sword boasts a stunning, high polished 14-and-a-half-inch blade (36.83cm) that has been excellently preserved. The edge has not been post factory sharpened. Ricasso shows the Argentine national crest along with a maker stamp. All markings are crisp and clear. Sword is equipped with minty wood scales. Overall an extremely high condition example of a 1909 argentine short sword.Specifications
