SOLD - Rare Krag Jorgensen Short Bayonet Matching Scabbard

8/28/23 - This is a good condition example of a Norwegian Krag-Jorgensen Bayonet. This particular example appears to have been produced during WW2 and is not the cut-down version, as there is no fuller. This bayonet shows an honest wear patina along the blade with minor surface rust spots where the crossguard and blade meet. The edge itself does show hints of re-sharpening but has not been marred up too severely. On the ricasso are the maker marks from the factory. The serial number is below; matching the scabbard, it reads 46954. Wood grips show typical surface wear marks with one minor split on the right grip. Like the blade, the scabbard has spots of surface rust but is otherwise in great condition with no dents or cracks.
