Description

2/1/18 - This is a beautifully engraved Walther PPK done in the classic German style - Oak Leaf and Acorn.   The entire gun is engraved including the safety lever, the ejection port and the bottom of the magazine.  Early 90 degree safety with crown N proofs on the slide, ejection port and on the barrel.   Slide is internally numbered to the gun.   While I can't say this is factory engraved, interestingly I have recorded other engraved PPK in the same range, which is often an indication of a factory grouping (7871xx, 78731x, 78732x, 78767x and 78800x).  The bluing was applied after the engraving so if done outside the factory then the bluing would also be post factory, but it is a correct high polish finish with signs of wear.  Comes with an original 30's grip and magazine.
