SOLD - Himmler Engraved Walther PPK

11/6/18 - This is a nickeled/gold finish presentation PPK. The pattern is floral which is one of the 3-4 engraving styles that the Germans used. Careful examination of the engraving leads me to believe that this is not a factory engraved gun. It could have been a special order contemporary to Himmler (as he was known to have ordered approximately 100 presentation pistols with his signature) OR it was done post war. Whether it is period correct or a post war embellishment, the gun makes a nice presentation piece. The gun was manufactured in about 1942-43. The Walther logo and proof marks were engraved over, but that is typically the case with Himmler presentation guns. The underlying finish is nickel or chrome with a gold wash over it. Even both sides of the grip screw are engraved. Comes with period correct brown grip. Also comes with a post war Walther presentation case. The gun came to me with no magazine, so I added a post war magazine because it has an engraved bottom. It really needs a nickel or gold plated magazine. Whoever buys the gun, we will continue to look for a proper mag. They rarely show up but someone out there may have one and we would appreciate the chance to buy it. Gun seems to function properly. Comes in 7.65mm. The end of the barrel DOES have the Eagle/N proof mark.
