2/5/20 - This is a unique and fairly rare WW2 U.S. Ensign No 9 Mare Island flag. The flag is also dated Jan 1944. The Ensign flags were designated for the navy, and based on the photos you can see that this flag was flown during the war. Although tattered and worn, the flag still holds together and is one piece. Overall size is 44in x 58in. The flag is ink stamped as shown in photos. A very cool piece of US history.
