Description
10/19/26 - This is an excellent example of a BYF 41 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The "byf" code identifies Mauser's Oberndorf plant, which was the main producer of the P.08 for the German armed forces in the early war years. It is all matching with the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs and is fitted with excellent matching-numbered and Eagle 655-proofed wood grips. It comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered magazine, one unnumbered magazine, an "Eagle 655" tool, and a nice 1941-dated holster, along with a Legacy Collectibles certificate of authenticity. The original finish rates about 95-96%, with just minor high edge and muzzle wear and a few small dings in the metal on the left and right sides of the receiver. Very nice bore with strong rifling; it is mostly shiny, but there is some light freckling in the grooves. A high-condition 1941 Mauser Luger rig with its matching magazine and grips.
