Description

7/6/23 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911A1 manufactured in 1943. It is all-correct, has the proper "United States Property" marking, and the proper US military cross-canon cartouche. This one, however, has British proofs throughout, indicating it was part of the WW2 British Lend-Lease Program. Proper, matching numbered slide and rare Colt barrel with large 'G' under lug. It has retained about 94% of its parkerized finish, as there isn't much actual finish loss but some patina throughout. Comes with excellent grips that have minor handling wear. Minty bore. C-R magazine.
