06/25/2024 - For sale is a Model 1871 Mauser made by Amberg in 1881. This rifle is fully matching and in excellent condition for its age. The rifle finish is down to the white which is known for Amberg rifles. The stock is in excellent condition with many of its proofs visible. The bore is also very bright there are spots of pitting visible with great rifling. The buttplate is marked for we believe the 8th Bavarian Infantry Regiment.
