Description

9/25/23 - This is an excellent example of an Argentine Mauser Modelo 1891 chambered in 7.65x53 Mauser. The rifle is matching on the receiver, barrel, stock, magazine, and bolt. The metal finish on the rifle is in great condition with light finish loss on the barrel and nose cap. The bolt release has a nice case hardening color. The receiver still has the Argentine crest which were often ground leaving military service. The stock is excellent with little dings or handling marks. The bore is dark but has sharp rifling and no pitting. The rifle comes with an early brass grip bayonet with a green canvas frog.
