Description
4/16/25 - For sale is a nice Swedish Mauser 1896 that was used by the Swedish Volunteer Corps that went to assist Finland against the Soviet Union during the Winter War. The rifle was absorbed into the Finnish Army inventory as denoted by the Boxed SA stamp. The rifle retains a nice blued finish with a few spots of surface oxidation. The stock is in excellent shape with minor handling marks, mainly at the toe. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle has matching numbers throughout, including the stock and handguard, but the cleaning rod is mismatched. There is an import mark on the right side of the barrel.Specifications
