Description
6/25/26 - This is an excellent example of a matching and original Nazi Mauser K98 from 1942. Matching numbers on bands, receiver, barrel, bolt handle, trigger group and adjustable sight. The bolt shroud, safety, and cocking piece are all unnumbered. Stock is matching numbered internally. Excellent original bluing aside from where the barrel meets the receiver, as there is some thinning on either side of the rear sight. Sharp waffenamt on wrist and face of stock. Buttplate is marked 'brg' and shows patina all over. Bore has strong rifling with only minor frost and a hint of freckling. Comes with a cleaning rod, sling and sight hood. Stock is in great shape with no major defects.
