6/2/25 — For sale is a Springfield M1C sniper rifle, manufactured in 1945. The rifle is in excellent condition overall and retains a nice parkerized finish throughout. There is corrosion/pitting on the edges of the buttplate. The stock is in excellent shape with no stamps present. There is light corner wear on the upper handguard. The bore is bright with strong rifling, showing a muzzle erosion of 2 and a throat erosion of 1. The scope rings and mount are reproduction parts, and the scope is not included. The scope ring was stamped to match the receiver. The rear of the receiver is stamped "SA-52," denoting its conversion to M1C configuration. The barrel is marked SA 1-53.
