Description
2/15/24 - This is a Springfield Armory M1922 MII that was made in the 1930's and upgraded later. These were built as cadet training rifles, designed to mimic the M1903 Springfield. This particular example shows that the armory upgraded it from the MI, as the second 'I' was clearly added later. Th parkerized finish is terrific with no notable wear. Minty bore. Stock is in great condition but has been lightly sanded, and there's a faint SA marking on the left face. Bolt action is buttery smooth. Handle is marked 'NS' and 'M2', and bolt is also marked 'M2'.Specifications
