03/05/2024 - For sale is an excellent Swedish Model 1896b Mauser made in 1906. The M96b was the infantry length rifle of the Swedish Mauser family. The rifle is in great condition with the metal retaining a nice bluing throughout. The wood stock is very clean with some handling marks throughout. There is a hairline crack in the toe of the stock. The bore is very nice and bright but it gets dark towards the muzzle. The rifle was updated to "b" spec which had the muzzle threaded for the training device and has a thread cover installed. The rifle is only matching on the bolt and receiver.
