8/20/25 - This is a Belgian vest-pocket auto marked “FABRIQUE D’ARMES F. DELU” (Liège, Belgium), a Browning 1906-type blowback pistol in 6.35mm (.25 ACP) with a 6-round detachable magazine. Features include a 2" barrel, fixed sights, manual safety , and checkered hard-rubber or plastic grips (monogrammed). Standard Liège proofs. Produced circa 1910s–1920s by the Liège trade, these compact pistols were affordable personal-carry arms for the European market and export. Collectors value them as representative of the vibrant Belgian cottage industry of pocket autos. This one has retained about 93% of its original bluing with general high edge wear. The bore shows pitting throughout.
