SOLD - Finnish Order of the Lion WW2 Medal

10/12/22 - This is an excellent example of a Finnish Order of the Lion medal from WW2. The metal is in excellent condition with no major blemishes or minimal signs of age. The enamel of the cross is in excellent condition as well with no cracking and only minimal signs of wear. The ribbon is in great condition with minimal fraying although some of the stitching at the top of the back is frayed. The cross measures approximately 1 5/8" from side to side and the whole medal measures approximately 4" from the end to end. The medal is nonmagnetic throughout. Overall an excellent example of a WW2 era Finnish medal.
