Description
10/28/26 - This is a stunning, boxed example of a DWM Luger sold on the commercial market in the 1920s, chambered in .30 Luger (7.65mm). After WWI, the Treaty of Versailles restricted German pistol production, and DWM turned to the commercial and export trade with .30 caliber Lugers like this one, which carry the civilian "Crown N" proof. It is all matching, with the "GERMANY" export marking on the front of the frame. This gun is a real showpiece: the deep, rich original blue rates about 99%, with just the slightest hints of high edge wear, and it contrasts beautifully with the bright strawed small parts and the mint blonde wood grips with crisp, sharp checkering. It comes with a mint "Germany" marked magazine, an original DWM owner's manual, and a scarcely seen original DWM red cardboard box. Mint bore, 10/10. A truly exceptional 1920s commercial Luger, complete with its rare factory box.
